Amazon Prime Day Wishlist 2018

Every year I get less and less excited about Amazon Prime Day but I still have a browse anyway. They never have deals on the items I need and there’s only so many Kindles and Firesticks a family can have! I like being armed with a wishlist though otherwise I would probably buy another, er, Kindle.

Amazon Prime Day Wishlist

1. Camelbak Water Bottle

I’ve lost count of how many dedicated kids water bottle we’ve tried. They either leak or are just hard to use. My toddler actually gets on with my Camelbak so need to get one as they now do nice funky designs. Mine is a plain and boring!

2. Samsung J5 dual-SIM Smartphone

Not the easiest thing to find in the UK as it’s not popular but I need one for my Dad who lives in a country of multiple inadequate networks! I’ve got my eye on the J5 but I’m open to models really if there’s a good deal on.

3. Laptop

My dad also needs a laptop which I’m hoping to get him as a 60th birthday present. At the time of writing this, I haven’t done one iota of research so this may not happen on Prime Day. I don’t like rush-buying tech online!

4. Nintendo Switch

This is more of a pipe dream item but in the unlikely event that it’s on a good offer then I might get one for the husband. Not that he has time to use it these days. Something to do with having young kids blah blah blah!

5. Self-indulgent item

This is technically not a *need* but it’s been years since I’ve bought something nice for myself. Something to do with having young kids haha! I’m forever buying children and men items. So I’m going to be spontaneous and get something for me – if it’s reasonably priced.

I’ll also be using camelcamelcamel to check the price history of items just to be sure that I’m getting the best deal. Let’s hope it’s not as disappointing as last year’s Black Friday sales!

  1. Well, I totally missed the boat on this! Usually I feel pummelled by all the advertising around Prime Day, but it passed me by this time. Oh well!

  2. Ahh man I love Prime Day – really makes me want to join Prime hahaha! Also love a wishlist – nothing wrong with having a few dream items on the go! x
