I love seeing meal planning. Im the person who goes shopping and spends a fortune with nothing to show for it. Im shopping tomorrow and we are saving fora holiday so a list would be great at for us:)

List is definitely good when shopping. Doesn’t stop me buying extras but I stand a better chance of remembering the essentials 😁

I find it a bit weird to not see breakfast on the list, as it is definitely the most important meal for me and I can’t go without it.
On another side, I’m so eager to try a slow cooker. Need to get one too!

Breakfast is usually cereal or something on toast. We eat at work so only need to feed toddler. Not exciting for the meal plan I figured hahaha. I wish I could do fancy breakfast dishes but no time for that really

This is a brilliant meal plan! I love meal planning but I never really think about lunch, beyond having a few ideas in the cupboard. Thanks for linking up!

    • The Growing Mum says:

I have to provide meals for toddler to take to nursery (I refuse to pay £6 a day for his meals and snacks unless I have to) so we have to plan lunches. Also means us parents spend less buying everyday so only have to get something when I can’t be bothered.

I love how you’ve put your shopping lists in as well – it definitely helps when you go shopping! Thank you so much for linking up with The Meal Planning Linky.

[…] This may be obvious but it is important to schedule your shopping before the start of your meal plan otherwise you won’t have the ingredients to cook with. Ours start on Monday, the weekend before is for cooking so the shopping is done on Friday. We do online shopping so it is actually done before Friday so it arrives on time. See an example of one my shopping lists here.  […]
